A Thanksgiving Poem

Baked apples with cinnamon,
Or roasted Belgian endives.
Cauliflower covered with cheese,
And pumpkins baked into pies.
Figs and cranberries
Make wonderful desserts,
As do pomegranates,
And don't forget pears.
All of these things ripen,
Are harvested in Fall.
That is why we give thanks,
And eat them one and all.
